Let It Snow...

Here in Colorado, I'm ringing in the new year with a blanket of snow. Some of you might not see snow this January...no worries, you can make your own! Just tap your heels together while saying~
Let It Snow
Let It Snow
Let It Snow
And it snowed...Chocolate Snowflake Pops~
Wouldn't it be fun, if just a couple of times it snowed chocolate snowflakes?  Just in case it doesn't happen,
I'll show you how to make them!

After making the red candy pops, I added white fondant snowflakes.
A few snowmen had to get in on the fun too!
Baby, it's very cold outside!  But not for the white chocolate Snowmen!
I used Merkens white chocolate for the suckers and Wilton red fondant to make their hats.  After rolling out the fondant, I embossed it with fabric embossing mats.  Added a strip of red (cut with my OXO Rolling Mincer) across the bottom and made a red circle for the pom pom.  Piped on a little royal icing and put the snowman together.

Now it's time to come in from the cold!

It's Been Nice To Snow Ya!

  7. How cute are these? I love how simple the snowflake ones are yet they're so beautiful. I need me a lollipop mould like that since I have the plunger cutters too. And the snowman? Toooooo cute for words.
